Jackscrew pump station Lytse Brekken

For the new jackscrew pump station Lytse Brekken near Tjerkgaast-Spannenburg, Jansma Drachten BV asked Van Heck to provide a temporary pump installation (TPI) for the maintenance of the polder water level during the demolition of the smaller pumping station Twaalf Voeten.

Polder water level maintained

The diesel powered HK400 pump ensures the diversion of water from the ditch on one side of the pumping station, to the ditch on the other side of the pumping station. This enables the pumping station to be dry during the demolition and the polder water level is maintained.

The work is expected to be completed by mid-April 2016.
