Some of Van Heck’s pumps have finished their work and have arrived back from German floodplains. However, at a polder pumping station in Breitenhagen damaged by the floods in June, 3 HK700 pumps and 1 HK500 pump have been put to use to temporarily take over its function during repair. Due to worries that some dykes may break again, a creative arrangement of pumps and piping was thought up, on site, to keep our pumps dry should the Elbe burst its banks again.
