On November 26, 2014 Jeroen van Heck received the Green Award certificate from Jan Fransen, Director of the Green Award Foundation.
Van Heck received this certificate for its innovative mobile oil pump, the Sea Trophy, that can quickly pump fuel out of ships. Van Heck is now incentive provider of the Green Award. With this quality mark Van Heck shows that the improvement of the quality of navigation is important. Throughout the world there are ships, shipping companies and oil companies that have been certified by Green Award in the field of quality, safety and the environment.
The Green Award Foundation is an independent organization that was established in 1994 on the initiative of the Rotterdam Municipal Port Management and the Dutch Ministry of Transport. Green Award has been introduced as a label in the shipping industry to increase the quality of the ships.
