In December last year we wrote an article about our latest and largest siphon system.
In record time our engineers and constructors built Van Heck’s latest addition; the siphon Ø 1200.
FROM DELAY TO CONSTRUCTION
The project of our client Eiffage in Oberhausen was unfortunately postponed several times, partly due to the Covid-19 situation.
Last week the signal was given and Van Heck started the transport with 4 trucks.
In Oberhausen, the brand new siphon Ø 1200, a siphon Ø 1000 and some 75 meters of piping were successfully installed. Two service technicians were on site for two days and installed the material professionally.
23,050 M³ OF MOVING WATER!
With a height difference of approximately 1.2 meters, both siphons pump a total capacity of 23,050 m³ / per hour!
Should heavy rainfall occur in the coming period, this location is extremely well prepared for this thanks to Van Heck’s siphon systems.
