Early January 5 Van Heck engineers traveled to Baku to perform the load-out of a 15.600 Tonne foundation for an off-shore production platform in the Caspian Sea.
Thanks to a flawless cooperation with our customer, the huge jacket was pushed from the quayside onto a barge in a timeframe of 12 hours. A distance of 137m!
The Van Heck team ensured the level of the 163m long and 45m wide barge within centimeters, using our in house designed and built, centrally controlled ballast equipment.
After mutual congratulations once the mega job was done, our team enjoyed a well earned beer to celebrate a job well done!!
